Practical AI Adoption Workshop
About This Workshop
A hands-on working session for teams that want to move from AI interest to AI usage. Philip helps participants identify real workflows, evaluate where AI belongs, separate automation from AI, and design use cases they can take straight back to their teams. This is not a prompt-writing seminar. Every participant leaves with something they built during the session, live and ready to use. Best for leadership, operations, enablement, and cross-functional groups responsible for AI adoption.

Director of AI Transformation at Zapier and the operator companies call when AI adoption stalls, with 1,000+ hours turning enterprise teams from AI-curious to AI-capable
Philip Lakin is Zapier's Director of AI Transformation and the person companies call when AI adoption stalls. He co-founded NoCodeOps, the enterprise automation community Zapier acquired in 2024, and has spent more than 1,000 hours in the field helping enterprise teams move past AI theater into real, daily practice. A former working actor turned operator, he is unusually at home on stage: hands-on, interactive, and focused on getting people building rather than watching slides. His forthcoming book, Figure It Out People, gives language to the quiet problem-solvers who hold modern companies together.
